Great peace of mind

We previously owned a generator for our home in Florida due to the hurricanes, but after relocating to a rural area in Michigan, we hoped the power would be more dependable. However, after experiencing two power outages and a third storm that left us without electricity for almost two days, I decided to purchase this generator—one of the last two available. Fortunately, our house already had a transfer switch installed, and the generator performed wonderfully, powering nearly everything and keeping us comfortable. Now, it’s stored in the barn, prepared for future use with fuel stabilizer, gasoline, and a charged battery, ready to go whenever we need it. Great peace of mind.

I really like this unit.

My daughter purchased our Westinghouse Generator (we call it “The putt-putt”) several months ago and have used it 2 times as a test and 4 times during actual black-outs (we live in a forest). Both the gasoline and propane systems have worked perfectly. All the black-outs were fairly short-lived, so fuel usage was well within my requirements, and switching between fuel supplies was also effortless and without problems. The remote start worked every time, even the times I started remotely to show off the unit for some friends.
I really like this unit.

Peace of mind for next ice storm. Was without power for 12 hours during the last one. Never again. Will be able to keep warm, run well pump & fridges/freezers & water heater.
