Good unit.

I bought the 9500DF a year ago as an emergency power supply. It arrived on time without a problem. It started right up and ran smoothly on propane with required power output. I ran it for about 30 minutes and then put it in storage for a year. When I got it out and tried it again it started right up again. I am pleased with this unit. I feel it will be ready when I need it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Westinghouse Portable Generator Review

Wanted a portable home generator for some time. This generator is well made, relatively quiet and can be used with both propane and gasoline. It was delivered with oil, battery charger and the hookup for propane. Another unique feature is the remote start and stop. Will still need to make or purchase the home hookup cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Impressed with Unit

I purchased the 9500DF unit for power backup in our home. Unit arrived in good condition, easy to assemble and move around after assembly. I plan to use propane mostly to avoid the extra maintenance of gasoline in the carburetor. I connected a 15 lb propane tank, the unit started immediately with the remote. I purchase a 13' 6-gauge extension cord and connected it to a 50 amp outside outlet. Generator ran fine with an electrical load, very pleased with unit so far.

With so many hurricanes I purchased this since I lose power all the time. The generator does exactly what I wanted it to do. I am very pleased with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy, efficient and versitile

I bought this a few weeks ago as we have had a difficult winter and multiple power outages. Very easy set up and started right up. Has worked great so far! Very happy with this purchase!
