Seems to run well

Set up was a breeze. I have not yet hooked up the propane yet waiting for my first power outage to give it a real work out, but started up without a problem out of the box. I need to get the propane hooked up.

Excellent Generator! Easy to setup and start

Was able to set it up in less than 20 minutes. Started 1st time. Relatively quiet for a generator, especially one this big! It also looks good and we’ll made.

Purchasing my first portable generator was a challenging task. After much research, I decided on the WGen9500DFc duel fuel model. Great features along with a physical size & price I could handle. The duel fuel option gives me versatility to keep things running during hurricane season here in Florida.

Great Generator, Great customer service

This 9500 will run my entire house as long as the heater or ac is not on. The AC or heater causes it to bog down and the next size generator up would get that job done for sure - I just could not spend that extra money. I can run all my lights, TV's, appliances, phone chargers, etc... and run several small room electric heaters all at the same time, no problem. If I did not live out in the country where I have well water - the well draws a lot of juice, so without that it may be enough to run central air or heat.
I did end up having an issue with the generator - it was a warranty issue. The customer service technician was extreemly nice and helpful. I was preparing for a winter storm that was on the way - and the issue with the generator was a problem. The rep helped me through the issue. He litterally told me "lets get you through this storm, then we will get your generator warrantied". And that is exactly what he did, and what happened. Good machine. Good warranty. Great customer service. Thank you Westinghouse.

Great unit- easy to use

Bought this unit at the beginning of January during the floods and power outages in California. Easy to install and use. The remote start works well and is easy for my 92 year old mother to use when the power goes out. The dual fuel system allowed us to hook up directly to the 450 gal.house propane tank
