Everything a generator should be!

After researching many generators available in the marketplace, I decided that the WGen9500DF is the one that checks all the boxes for what I need now and for what I may eventually need in the future. Currently my home is wired with a 30 amp panel box, but this unit allows me to consider upgrading to a 50 amp setup instead. Also I like the flexibility of running on gas or propane. And if the push button start isn't easy enough already, the remote start option with the key fob takes convenience to the next level. The generator is well-built, very sturdy, and looks great in the garage. It even operates at a lower noise level than others units with comparable specs. The difference in noise output between two loud machines may be minor, but every little bit helps! Westinghouse also stands behind their product with a 3-year warranty and lifetime tech support... Final impression - After moving to Florida, I purchased this generator to be a home backup unit for storm-related power outages. Hopefully I won't have to use it often, but I'm confident that it will meet all expectations whenever the need arises.

Good generator / Bad battery

I received the generator on 10/6/22, unboxed, assembled, connected battery charger. Four hours later I started the generator with no issue. I have attempted to start the generator 3 times since and each time the battery has been dead.
I am hoping this will be addressed in a warranty claim.
Overall seems like a very good generator.

Finally a reliable Generator that I can start!

I love that this generator can run off of propane as well as gas. It is easy to switch between the two, so we can be ready for long power outages. The remote start is also a bonus. I love the push button start feature. I could never pull start any generator we ever had.

Dual Fuel- Great Features

I bought this in Oct 2022. It was delivered quickly. It was on a palette in a regular cardboard box, so I had to cut the box open to get to it. It was able to pull it part way out and lift up the end to attach the wheels and legs. Finally able to run it today and it is doing great. So happy to have the dual fuel and so many starting options. My meter says it is producing about 42 DB noise level. Put a minor load on it and it is cruising along. Bonus cover will be a great help in storage.

We bought this because we lose power every winter for multiple days. Had a 50amp plug installed and this was the highest rated with the features we wanted. Will run hvav and lights! Very solid. Heavy for sure, but the wheels and handle are excellent!

Easy setup and started with first push on remote

Did the basic assembly, added oil and gas, pushed the remote starter and it fired right up. Only ran it for an hour but very pleased with product!
