Great Generator!

Westinghouse WGen9500 Home Backup Portable Generator, 12500 Peak Watts
This came well packaged and looking great right out of the box. Easy to put together and function. I was impressed with the quality of the materials used and attention to detail. The battery comes with a charger, but the battery was ready to go once I finished the quick start guide. Initially I hooked it up to a 20lb propane (LPG) tank, and it fired up on the first press of the start button. Disconnected the propane and put 2 gallons of gas in. Started up perfectly on the gasoline. I then plugged in a few power tools and it had plenty of power.
Finally, with regard to noise level, this is a large generator that operates on average about 70-75 decibels about the equivalent of a lawn mower if you are standing next to it, as do most generators in this class. I could not be more pleased with this generator.

Some nice features

Just purchased and breaking it in. Used propane to break in as gas tends to go bad. Can't give it a 5 star yet as it has not been used during loss of power.

Easy start-up

After arriving 2 days early, the set-up out of the box was a breeze. Started right up, using key fob, push button start and recoil handle. It also seems quieter than expected. Have not run it under a load yet, but it appears that it will work as designed.

Delivery was very quick. Followed the included instructions and it started right away. Solid built piece of equipment. Will update after 50 hours.
