Huge Value for the Power

Bought this to act as a portable home backup generator. It was a great price for the amount of power that it offers. It was very easy to set up and everything is high quality. Now we just need an opportunity to use it.

Purchased the WGen p500DF generator 6 months ago to use as a backup when we loose power. Haven't had to use it yet. We try and run every month lt starts right up. Very happy with the purchase.

New Portable Generator

I finally bought a new portable generator to back feed my home and decided to upgrade to a Westinghouse model 9500 DF. The difference in quality from my last Coleman generator was noticeable immediately. It is much quieter, has more power, and more features. I particularly like the fact that it has a fuel gauge and remoter and or push button start. Looking forward to many years of service.

Performs as advertixed

Easy to set up. There is a reset of the GFI necessary on the 120 volt outlets.The oil dipstick needs to be screwed in all the way to get the oil to register when properly filled. It will just hit the bottom of the dipstick.

The original generator was damaged in shipping. Customer support at Westinghouse was superb in helping to coordinate the pickup and replacement of the damaged unit. Flawless. The generator is outstanding. Built solid like a tank.

So Far, So Good!

It's still early in the game, just started using this generator for welding, but so far everything has turned out ok. I will post and update after I have it broken in, per Westinghouse recommendations.
