We love the flexibility that the dual fuel provides us. Generator is moderate volume, which is good enough for us! So far we love this generator!

I bought this item about 3 weeks ago. So for far have not needed it because of power outage. I have Started the generator and checked it out. All features seem good and it arrived in good condition.

Works great in a power outage in Belize!

We bought this stonking generator before we moved to Belize and, after a year in storage while we built our house, we experienced a long power outage and unboxed it. Very easy to hook up to our butane tank, thanks to the instruction manual and worked like a dream. Not too noisy either considering. Air conditioning was restored and we did not lose the contents of our fridge/freezer, unlike many people. A big investment and a big return.

Bring on the storms

Just moved to NC and was told I'd need a generator at some point or other. Received the generator and after about 20-30 minutes I was in business. Putting it together was a piece of cake. After turning it on, plugged in the essentials and no problems. Bring on the storms

Easy Start

My husband and I bought the WGen9500DF because of the wattage, push button start, and the dual fuel. At our age I just couldn't pull start our old generator. We donated it to our neighbor who keeps an eye on us. I just wished it had four wheels because it is a little hard for me to move it out of storage to our deck.

Great features and power

Love the dual fuel option. This generator puts my wife's mind at ease now that we moved to Florida and experience power outages.

Appears to be nice unit - but won't run on propane

I bought this unit a couple of months ago and just got around to having an electrician wire the house. Shortly after the unit arrived in early March I started it up using propane (after reading the manual) and it ran beautifully. Today when I tried to start it for the electrician it would not start on propane...crazy. I put gas in it which I didn't want to do. It started and ran on gas and it ran my whole house. The disappointing thing is that I called the service hotline on a Saturday morning to ask someone for help. It was an answering service and they said that someone would call me during normal business hours next week. So, if there was an emergency and you needed to use your generator on the weekend there would be no assistance. The woman on the phone said they would give me the nearest service location to take it to. So beware because I would consider this a major missing link in their system. Maybe others are the same. I'll see what happens next week...when I'm at my full time residence...200 miles from the generator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
