Just what I was looking for

Purchased this generator after losing power for the second time in one month. After a lot of research, this had exactly what we needed (dual power with either propane or gas). We like the fact that we can operate our fridge, deep freeze, tankless water heater, and more with one generator. Gives us the peace of mind knowing that we won't lose everything until the power comes back on. Only advice that we have, when you make the purchase, make sure you have someone with you. It is heavy.

Had all the features that I was looking for

I bought this generator because it was dual fuel and had two 240-volt receptacles which were requirements I had. I chose Westinghouse because it is a well-known brand name and a friend of mine has a Westinghouse and is extremely happy with it. The remote start is a cool feature.
I had to call into Customer Service to answer a question about setup. The representative was extremely helpful and easy to understand. Excellent service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

features I needed

After purchase I put in oil, connected propane, paired key fob and started it. Fired fight up with no "priming" like with a Onan. Applied a load and everything worked perfectly. Now I feel more prepared for the bad weather in Mississippi that results in power failures.

Nice machine and well built.

Bought this from local store because of the price. Got it home and was amazed on how well built the machine was and looked as advertised. Obviously this was an item from store that takes damaged products and there was some damage to the machine. All in all, I like the features especially the remote start and electric start along with a pull start option as well. Definitely would recommend.

Got ahead of the turmoil that is to come...nice to be able to have 2 fuels that can be used with a large enough generator that should take care of all necessities on our farm.

Easy to Assemble / Easy to Use

I purchased this as a back up generator for our rural home, and while I've not used it for that, the testing of an actual hook up [after an electrician installed transfer components] it kicked right in and powered all of the essential electrical needs, with additional capacity.
It is a heavy and seemingly well made. While two person assembly makes more sense than myself doing it alone, with a little improvision I was able to unpack and install the wheels.
Easy to use the instructions....also, very important to record and practice the process to transfer the output to the building it will be used for in a back up situation. As a stand alone power source, it is easy to start [remote] and use.
The dual fuel option is important as in an emergecny use, LPG / Propane will be the major fuel to power the generator.
