Appreciate Dual Fuel Features

Just opened our 9500DF. We use several portable generators during the year. We have used several different brands over the years. Some are better than others. This was a large wattage generator at an affordable price. Shipping was fast and setup was quick and easy. (Just to clarify, we have not put the generator under operational loads yet, but so far everything is good.) Looking forward to using this unit.

Piece of mind

I've been wanting to buy this product for a while to power my house during the Arizona monsoon season when we occasionally loose power. I finally made it happen! I first started it on propane which started right up. After reading other peoples thoughts on the break in procedure I decided to run it on gasoline. Fired right up! The Gasoline break in theory is that the fuel has more lubricants than propane and will aid in longevity.

Peace of mind for storms

I love the electric start. Remote start is nice but I don't know if I'll ever use it. I plan to keep the generator inside and roll it out to run and connect. Sadly a decent transfer switch is nearly the cost of the generator. More if I have to pay for installation.

Generator for rolling blackouts

The smartest thing we ever did, with rolling blackouts becoming more frequent and food more expensive, we can power our freezers and our computers & air conditioners. To keep working, we can't go down in a rolling blackout.
