Not very dependable

I bought this generator just a few weeks ago and its already stopped working. The on/off switch has gone bad only after three starts. The unit will not run on gas now due to no battery power. It will only run on propane and by pulling the rope. No electric starter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Generator

This generator is feature rich and more than capable to keep you powered during a power outage. Assembly was quick and easy and my generator started up right away (on propane) with a simple push of the remote control button. I'd definitely recommend this model to most people.
I wish they used a plastic fuel tank because that's my only concern - will the steel tank eventually rust? But no issues so far.

Outstanding quality product

This is one of the most feature rich, high output portable generators on the market. Key buying points for me were: Duel fuel is huge! The ability to use either gasoline or propane is perfect for me, and as a natural gas customer I will be adding the conversion kit to use natural gas for the most economical and environmentally friendly operation; 50amp output, most others in it's class only have a 30amp output; electric push button start and the 1st in class warranty. After unboxing, added the included oil, fueled it up and was running perfectly within minutes.

Great for Storms

Bought this knowing storm season was coming. I am able to power everything in my house. So nice not having to worry about my food going bad in the fridge and freezer.
