Great Generator and Value

Been in the market for a semi-powerful generator for a while. I wanted it to be easy enough for myself and wife to operate, yet powerful enough to handle some serious business. Electric start was definitely a must. This unit comes with a remote start as well, which I considered a bonus and great addition. The price dropped considerably on Prime Day for this unit, so I pulled the trigger.
The unit arrived two weeks later, bright and early. I expected the box to be beat to death but to my surprise, it was all intact. It's a heavy unit but not as heavy as I expected. Looks very well constructed. I followed the directions in the manual & test fired it with gas and propane and the unit fired right up with no problems. The first crank with the electric start did nothing. It stopped cranking on it's own and automatically tried again. It fired right up! I let it run for a moment, then shut it down. I started it with the remote. Again the first crank was unsuccessful. But it stopped cranking, then automatically tried again. It fired up!!
The unit came with everything you need to get started except fuel. It even comes with a funnel for the included quart of oil and a trickle charger for the battery. I find it to be somewhat quieter than other generators I’ve been around of this type.
Currently happy with this purchase & I hope I never need to use it. I can't speak to longevity just yet, as I just received. I'll update this review if need be when an emergency requires use or otherwise. So far seems like a great Generator for the price point.

Easy and reliable

I bought this generator to replace an older one I had. This one is so awesome. The dual fuel is so easy to switch between propane or gas. Its easy to roll out into place and the auto start feature makes it so easy that my wife does not have any issues starting it. And the trickle charger that it comes with makes it so the battery is always charged. It easily runs my propane furnace, water pump, propane water heater and refrigerators giving us all the creature comforts during a power outage.

So excited about our new addition to our comfort and security for our home, love the options it’s got. Duel fuel, also three ways to start, pull, push and remote . Can’t do any better than that. Thank you Westinghouse for helping me have a little peace of mind when the power goes out.

Capacity of running the whole house
