All the features we need, and then some!

Simple set-up, high quality and strong power source make this THE generator for us. From the large gasoline tank and LP option, to the multiple outlets on the front of the unit, this Westinghouse generator has it all! I also want to note the matte black tubular frame and the gloss blue paint look excellent!
I tested the generator under load with my large air compressor that utilizes a 5.5hp 20amp motor and the Westinghouse didn’t flinch when the compressor kicked on. I was expecting the generator’s RPMs to surge, but it didn’t. This is a true “whole house” generator that will easily manage multiple job site tasks or powering your home during outages. I highly recommend!

The unit was easy to put together. Just add fuel and oil. It started up and I’m 2 hours into the 50% load break in period. Looking forward to trying it out under a normal load. So far I couldn’t be happier. One of my coworkers bought the same 9500DF unit a year ago and has had only good things to say about his experience.

Just what we needed!

We live in Northern California where we went without power for 9 days last winter in 30 degree temperatures. We bought this generator on recommendation of our electrician and so happy we did! So confident we will never have to go through again.

love the propane dual fuel

The fact that I can run this generator using my 500 Gallon tank is fantastic. No more storing gas! The remote start feature was great as well. Started right up out of the box no problem. Time will tell if she lasts though

Generator arrived in excellent condition. Carrier brought from truck to my garage. After opening up found unit undamaged and installed wheels and foot mount. Added oil and Tru-Fuel (no ethanol gas). Started right up and tested with shop vac and table saw. Will need my electrician friend to do the electrical upgrade to my house service so I can use the 50 Amp outlet to power my small 1036 sq. ft house. So far very satisfied.

Excellent Dual-Fuel Generator

Removed from packaging. All quality and solid construction. Added about 95% of the supplied oil. Added gas. Attempted push-button start. Wouldn't start. Try numerous times and wouldn't start. Decided to add the last bit of oil to bring into middle section of oil stick. It started right up. Must be sensor controlled. Ran for half hour, and will do a couple more oil changes before long term use. Very satisfied!
