A Couple Minor Issues

The unit came sooner than expected! The box when it arrived had minor damage, however, after opening and inspecting the unit, the unit looked ok with the exception of the owner's manual being damage and the cap on the propane gas inlet was damaged/broken. Fortunately the threads on the inlet look intact. The owner's manual under "getting started" said to hook up the battery, but the battery was already hooked up. I tried to start the unit after putting oil in and the unit appeared to be dead with no electrical power. After looking at the unit to diagnose the problem, I found there was a plug-in on the wire coming from the battery which was not plugged in, but was wire tied up under the instrument panel. I plugged that in and the generator started good. The remote also worked good. I have a transfer switch on order, so I have not had a chance to put it to a good test.
I'm a pretty meticulous person, and the broken spined book is annoying. I'd like to see Westinghouse replace my propane gas inlet cap and book. I would gladly change my review to a 5 star rating!

This generator has everything I need for the upcoming hurricane season. Great features, easy to use & comes with a remote start key fob. I'm prepared now!

Awesome Generator

As a Florida resident, generators are crucial and I am so glad we bought this one! It is very easy to use and to install and the fact that it is dual fuel is very convenient. I know that because this generator is so powerful we will be fully covered if a hurricane does strike.

Perfect for my needs

I bought this Dual Fuel unit to give me power during our power outages by PGE fire prevention programs. It will run everything in my house via a transfer switch. Happy I choose this generator.

Love the Dual Fuel

Purchased this to ride out hurricane season in Florida. Bought on line and shipped right to my door. Quick set up and it's ready to go. Has enough power to keep my a/c, refrigerator and then some going through an outage.

I recieved the generator took it out of the box put the wheels on hooked up the battery and put the oil and fuel in it and all 3 options to start it worked . Runs very quiet for a bigger generator very happy with purchase .
