Hurricane ready

We recently became full time residents of Florida (no longer snowbirds). Florida's hurricane season just began on June 1st and lasts through November 30th. Ordered the generator on May 28th and it arrived on a truck with a powered tailgate on June 4th. It was on a skid and the driver wheeled it right into my garage. If we get hit with some severe weather and power goes out either briefly or for maybe several weeks, I feel we'll be okay with a fridge running, and one or two portable A/C units operating in the high heat and humidity weather conditions. Having dual is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. I'll always have LP on hand for fuel because I can store that forever and it's ready at a moment's notice. Gasoline is for the long term runs and I wouldn't filll containers unless a storm is imminent. I assembled what little there was to assemble, wheels, props and filled the crankcase with engine oil (provided) essentially and I'm ready to go. I'll perform a test run in a day or two check out the dual fuel feature and break it in a bit.to The unit is very well made, the owner's manual is very well written and illustrated. I love it and haven't even started it yet.

Great features, electric start and duel fuel

I bought this generator because of the duel fuel and electric start features. It is a good feeling to be prepared in case of a disaster and the duel fuel feature is a good idea in case gasoline is not readily available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the propane and remote start features. No need to worry with stale gasoline after proloned idle time. Remote start/stop is very convenient in the middle of the night

I bought this expecting it to be ok but was actually surprised at the craftsmanship the quality the thought put into this..I feel safe and secure knowing that when I need to use this that it is going to work and that it’s gonna work goo...No buyers remorse very happy

connect battery, LP add oil and start

Was super easy use quick connect to attach battery. Connect LP and add oil. It started right up. Hardest part was connecting wheels and filling out Registration.

Very inpressed with the looks of the generator, well made. Unpacked it, put wheels and stand on it, added gas and it started right up. Looks like it has all the features that I need as I enter into hurricane season. I look forward to using it if and when i do.

Pleasantly Surprised

Generator is extremely simple to set up and get ready to run. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the unit. Some other generators I looked at had plastic parts on them.The day after completing the transfer switch installation we had a power failure due to a local fire. The generator performed pefectly and runs our whole house. Having dual fuel, electric an pull start capability is important to me. The only negetive I've found is the 50 amp redeptical is over the wheel and interfears with plugging in the thick 50 amp cord. Forming a bend in the cord works OK. Overall I'm very happy with the unit so far.
