So far so good

We just received and so far everything looks great. The product was delivered nicely and in perfect condition. It is loud but as expected. The product is easy to move for my husband. Turned on and powered up. Just waiting to give it a whole house test once our subpanel is installed. So far so good, five stars.

Great generator

Bought this generator the day after we got power back. We were without power for 7 days and said we won't be without power again. We figured we needed bare necessities to survive but the fuel consumption (approx. .55gph or .67gallons of propane per hour) is the same as smaller generators (5kw generators). So for a little additional upfront cost to get the bigger 9500w you can have all the power you could want while using the same amount of fuel and know you will never be underpowered. Also got the dual fuel because we found during an emergency gasoline is hard to find and you can run a grill propane bottle for about 7hours which will buy you some time for gasoline to become available to switch back to. The generator will scare you because you will push the start button and it cranks for a long time and sometimes you have to push start again for another cranking cycle but I guess that is just a characteristic of this generator. It has always started it just cranks for a long time before it fires up. Once it is running it is quiet and the wheel/handle kit is great for moving it around! Great purchase, I feel so prepared for any storm now.

After having issues with a competitor generator that was difficult to start when cold, I did some more research and decided on the WGen9500DF from Westinghouse. Not only does this one run better than the other generator, but the auto start, remote start and overall simplicity of this generator is great. I haven't had it too long, but had a chance to stress test it with some space heaters for several hours and it ran flawlessly. Very happy and I'm recommending it to many others!

Very, very nice machine

Bought this machine a few weeks ago and found it very easy to set up and get working. Found this generator relatively quiet compared to Briggs & Stratton it replaced. Very happy with user manual, pretty explicit. I planned to use when power goes out and am using 5w-30 synthetic oil which is good for all temps when I may have to use it. Also, the angled funnel provided made adding engine oil a breeze....and the remote start setup took less than 5min....

Excellent Features-Well Packaged

Purchased product a week ago and began putting it together today. Was impressed with the packaging of the product and the easy to follow instructions to assemble it. I usually have difficulty assembling items but this was nicely described and diagramed. It took approximately 30 minutes to unpack and assemble the wheels and “boots”. Looking forward to using it when needed. Very pleased.
