Haven’t had many hours on this generator, but it has conveniently come in handy during unpredictable Texas weather.

No power

The generator cranked, but there is no power to the AC receptacles. A call was placed to the support number on the front of the generator. The person who answered said they would speak to someone and return the call. The call has not been returned. The trouble shooting section of the booklet says the generator is faulty. I do not know what to do next.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with your purchase. Don’t hesitate to contact us at WestinghouseVIP@wpowereq.com with your contact information, and we will have a technician reach out to you. One area to check is on the outlets there are small GFI breakers in between the outlets that sometimes will pop during transportation.

I settled on the Westinghouse genset after so investigations. I am well pleased with the product. It was well boxed and in good shape When opened. The wheels and front feet had to be installed but that was a simple and quick. I read the book and hooked up the battery; a matter of pushing two connector together. The oil provided was the EXACT amount needed. I started the unit on propane; it started right away and ran well. I will break ion the rings in the next week or so. Perfect.

Just got this and very happy that I did. It was important to have dual fuel and a plus was the electric start with remote. The data center is nice feature too. Warranty and tech support are also great.

Size is smaller than I expected, but it may be a good thing. Easier to move around.
