I assembled the unit and started it up for the first time yesterday and let it run for about five minutes. The remote electric start is a very nice feature and worked well once I was able to get enough gas into the system for it to take. It doesn’t start right away, and I had to prime the cylinder with some carburetor cleaner. Once that ignited it started to pull gas and ran fine. The design is very nice and easy to maintain and it looks like it was put together well. I would recommend this brand although I have not used it to power my house yet.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend it. It can be started manually, but the best thing it comes with remote control to turn it on. It has the 30 or 50 amp output which was one of the thing I was looking in a generator .

I got the 9500 duel fuel. This product is amazing! Easy to start with the push button, or remote and still has recoil option. Love all the plug in options. My wife is so happy she can remote start it wile still in bed instead of pulling on a cord in the snow first thing in the morning.

Bought this base on my friend's recommendation and I have to say, this is generator is awesome. They could of done a better job on the boxing design. There was no way anyone can lift that out of the box, pretty much have to destroy the box by cutting open the box on all 4 corners. The product it self is great. Start right up, so far its working as expected. As far as stability, will have to update later.

As a single mother on the Tx Gulf coast one can not be overly prepared for electrical interruptions that make life difficult and perilous. I sleep easy knowing I’ve got it covered with the choice of petroleum gas or propane power at My finger tips. Thanks Westinghouse!

Just what I needed

With the increased power outages happening in California, finally broke down and bought a generator. Westinghouse came well recommended and the WGen9500DF had all the required features and power to run my well pump and critical circuits in my house through a transfer switch. Generator arrived well packaged and ready to go! Time will tell on reliability but from what I’ve read, it is the machine to have.
