Great First Impressions

Just received my Westinghouse 9500WGen DF 50 Amp generator. The generator was delivered in great condition and the setup could not have been any easier. Work instructions were clear and accurate and everything needed for setup was provided in the box. Tested the dual fuel function and both worked well and were easy to switch over. Appears to be well built can't wait to try it out on our first power outage.

Very powerful and quiet

I just purchased this generator and put everything together. Filled it up with oil and used the propane fuel feature. Started right up and I can see it has plenty of power to run the Necessities in the event of a power failure

Somehow was able to get this when generators of this size were very scarce (post storm, power out for days to thousands of homes.)
It came with everything needed to get started, and clear directions for break in period, oils change info etc.
One VERY minor suggestion: since the maintenance schedule calls for first oils change after 24 hours of run time or so, AND since manual recommends replacing the oils drain plug crush washer…. It would be super helpful if they tossed a couple of those in. Super cheap, and even though 20-25 hours run might seem like plenty of time to obtain one of these washers…. If the power is out for days…. You would reach this in 2 days if you were only running half time. Just a small consideration. Otherwise, happy overall
