Backup Power in Florida

The dual fuel is excellent when gas was hard to find, the propane got us through until we could. The remote lets us turn it off and on when not needed from the porch - no need to venture out into the weather. It is for a small 800 sq ft cottage - powers everything but the on-demand hot water heater on propane - that is not a priority in the sweltering heat of Florida. Since this is an emergency backup power source, the propane makes maintenance easy-peasy.

Great Unit

I bought this unit to replace a smaller 5500 watt unit to power my house when we lose power
I am very happy with the purchase
Cant wait to lose power to see how well it powers my home
I only gave 4 stars because I haven't run it enough top find out if their are any problems.

I just received and unpacked my new generator. It was easy to set up. After the experience of dealing with Helene, I am glad I ordered this generator to give me some comfort that I will be able to weather the next hurricane/tropical storm with the help of back-up power should I need it
