I purchased the Westinghouse 95000FC generator to replace my Honda Black MAX because of the features it has, I am 83, can't see well but the way the Westinghouse features are placed all on the front makes it very easy to operate. Also, the electric stat with the pod is a great feature because I can't pull the coil rope on my Honda. It us a great purchase for me with the features.

i BOUGHT THIS ONE TO REPLACE A BRIGGS THAT WAS CONTINUING TO GIVE ME STARTING PROBLEMS. HAD NOT USED IT BUT ONCE, (2 WKS), BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE THE FEATURES HAVE THAT MY NEW WESTINGHOUSE HAS, THIS IS MY SECOND WESTINGHOUSE THAT I PURCHASED.

This appears to be a well-made generator. It arrived boxed with no damage. Assembly was very easy. The unit came with oil, 1.1-quart container, and a very nice, angled funnel which made filling the engine mess free. I kept the 1.1-quart container and cable tied the funnel to it. I will fill the 1.1-quart bottle from a gallon of oil I purchased when i change the oil. It makes it a no brainer on how much oil it takes. Although I always manually check the oil level before each use. I will probably never put gasoline in this unit. I don't want to worry about keeping the gas fresh. With using propane, you do loose a little power, but for my purpose, it is more than enough to run my whole house or my 5th wheel RV with two ac's if needed. I hooked up the propane hose and checked for leaks. I also made sure the main breaker was in the off position and started the unit with the remote control that came with it. It started first crank. I also used the push button and the pull to start feature and all started with ease. I ran the unit and connected small items at first. After the unit was properly broke in, I connected it to the RV. It powered everything with power to spare. The unit is a little loud, but when you need this for emergencies, that is insignificant. The unit has many nice features. I really like that it has a remote that will work up to 99 feet away. That way, I can set up the unit away from the house and not worry about CO fumes. I am very satisfied with this unit so far. I recommend this if you need a nice portable generator. Be advised though, it does weigh a little over 200 lbs. With the solid wheels and pull arm, it is easy to move though. I bought this generator to upgrade from my pull to start old one. This one is an upgrade, I can start it with the start button or remote start. It is a little heavy, but after installing the tires it is easier to move around. It is also a little noisy, but my neighbor’s car, truck and music are noisy too. I can run the generator to cancel out their noise. We lose power often thats why I need a generator, this year we lost power for 12 hours, I can fill up the gas tank and run the geo for that long. On one occasion we lost power for 2 days and we lost all of our food from the refrigerator and freezer. We ended up spending about $500.00 to replace all the food, so investing on a generator is a good idea.

This is the perfect generator to power majority of my home (2000 sq ft) during a power outage. Easy to assemble the few parts needed to roll around. I would recommend to everyone. Really love the push button/remote start up. Easy to start.
