Great Generator and Propane/Gasoline friendly!

Replaced a 14-year-old 8000/5600 generator with the 9500DF and WOW what a difference. I went from 30amp house panel input to 50amp house panel input and can now run multiple high draw amp items without tripping internal generator breakers. Quality of item, electric start, included battery charger, included propane hose are fantastic.
Two friends have seen the generator and my panel setup and are buying one of these.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaking oil

Bought this in October just now starting up to run as winter is here. Ran for about 1.5 hours and starting leaking oil. I have emailed customer service. I will see how this goes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Whole House Generator

I am very pleased with the Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator. It has the power to run everything I need during a power failure. The remote electric start is a wonderful feature. Setup and and startup were simple and quick.

Initial impression

Received this unit yesterday and was pleased to see it was packed well by the factory. Putting on wheels very easy as is installing the feet. Unit is heavy so can be a little awkward to handle. Have not started or used this generator yet but the appearance of the construction is very pleasing, fit and finish if you will. All the machined and stamped parts all fit well and look good. I believe I'll be quite pleased with its use.

Easy start for everyone

We purchased this generator a little over two years ago and it is great. We live rurally in a location that often loses power and we love that the duel fuel option allows less frequent trips to refuel during extended outages. It's also just as easy to start/run for me (small woman) as it is for my husband.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic features

I purchased this generator on line in December and it was setting on my doorstep in -4- days. Had my electrician out to put the saftey switch in and started the gen on the very first push of the button. Love it, thanks guys

So far so good

Just arrived yesterday. Installed necessary hardware. Connected propane to it and it fired right up. Everything so fare appears to be as advertised. I like the remote start feature.
