After planning to do a whole house backup with Generac only to find total cost would be close to 20K! My licensed electrician uncle told me about a more cost effective way to getting same power for less. I found this unit to be very popular for DIY backup for less on YouTube. I'm very pleased with its power capabilities and the price was very reasonable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this a month ago after a nasty wind storm in the area, setup was relatively straightforward and kicked on immediately. Haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet but provides a lot of peace of mind heading into the winter.

The Wgen 9500df replaced our smaller generator. Purchased in mid December and it arrived on Jan 5.
I did a 4.5 hour break in using propane. I had a small heater connected and varied the wattage from 700w to 1400w. The generator did great when it went from low heat to high heat.
Sound is what is expected for a larger generator. At about 50 ft it was around 71 dB. We have lots of trees in our backyard so the sound will be muffled before it reaches the neighbors.
This unit weighs 215lbs but the built in handles and wheels make easy to move around.
I hope we don't need to use the 9500df but in the event we do, our home is ready.
