Simple, Effective, Trustworthy

I bought my dual fuel two months ago and the very next day we had a storm and it was go time. With a quick release valve already installed on my house propane line, I was able to plug in the hose, switch the breaker over, flip a switch, and hit the remote (yeah, it has a remote!) and was operational in minutes. The coolest part was that I was able to easy wheel it out of my garage with the handle. It is mobile as a two-wheel wheelbarrow, which was awesome because it was the middle of the night and it had to go over some rocks. It is super sturdy. This was my first mobile generator and it was simple to learn. If you are looking at a easy and reliable solution, I would certainly recommend this product.

Not Sure Yet!

I bout one and ad to take it back. The customer support man was great even though it took six calls and waiting for a couple hours to get through. I also had to drive an hour one way to take it back. I did order another and it did work so far. I’m just now going through the breaking in the engine and oil change. I will have to update review later. One thing is, I lost a day but did decide to give them another try. That should be cause for a discount or something. It was over 200 LBS and I hurt my back loading it by myself and still paying for it!!

Great features & easy set up

The generator and accessories arrived in perfect condition. The included plastic pad made it easy to tip the unit on its side to attach the wheels and rubberized supports. Then, the long folding handle made it easy to bring up the steps and onto the back porch!
The instructions are very clear and it came with everything needed, including a power supply to charge the starting battery, propane hookup, and a fob for remote start. It even came with oil and a funnel! I like how it can run off gasoline or propane as we have both on hand, this being a somewhat rural area.
I purchased a 14-50P (50A RV) to 4x120V 20A adapter. This is perfect as there are 4 areas in the house requiring power. One of the two GFI outlets will be available for the livestock water tank de-icer and I appreciate the safety factor.
The maintenance schedule is reasonable although checking valve clearance after 100 hours of use (or every 6 months) seems a bit frequent. 100 hours is only 4 days, 4 hours, and power outages in this region have gone this long before. However, checking/adjusting valve clearance is very clearly stated in the manual. If you have a feeler gauge and torque wrench it should be no problem.

This generator is extremely user friendly. It is a great value with everything needed to meet my needs for a back up whole house generator which includes keeping my outside hot tub from freezing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
