Awesome Generator

Although I don’t have anything to compare to and looking at numerous others I decided on the WGen9500DF. Right out of the box (adding the oil) a few pulls and it started right up. I used gas the 1st start but will likely be using propane moving forward because it burns cleaner. Although the generator is loud I actually thought based on what I’ve been told it would be louder. (Another plus) I recently had a 50 amp transfer switch installed and after starting plugged in the generator I was able to power the pool, fridge, freezer, router, various lights, etc. I switched those off and turned on heat and then pool (along with fridge and freezer) and there didn’t seem to be any hesitation. My wife and my minds are at ease heading into the crazy Texas winters which are very unpredictable.

I really like the heavy duty frame and solid construction! It is heavy, but easy to move with the enclosed wheel kit and stout handles. I purchased it to power our home during the numerous power outages we have here in rural Wyoming (3 so far this year). The generator works great with the 50amp outlet as we have an electric water heater and we're on well water, so we can keep the furnace going in the winter and have hot water. It keeps our fridge and freezers going too! I really like the duel fuel feature as I have 5 full propane tanks (30 and 40 lb) and 3 or 4 full 5 gallon gas containers at all times, when the power is out for 3 or more days, this works great!!!

Great Generator for Emergency Home Back-up Power

After considerable on-line research I decided to purchase this model generator to serve as a supplemental power source for essential home electrical circuits in the event of an emergency such as the one we experienced here in Texas last winter. In my opinion it offered the best combination of available power generation capacity at a reasonable price in addition to various other desirable features such as; Dual Fuel sources (adding additional operational flexibility), Electric Start with a Remote Start feature, an "included" Battery Charger, a wide variety of service receptacles, American design, and a well written User Manual. It's also produced and backed by a well known company with a long established reputation for quality and reliability. Delivery was also well executed with the generator arriving on time and in perfect condition. I chose to have a licensed electrician install an exterior 50 amp connection box and a manual transfer switch in our home's main electrical panel so I could reliably power essential circuits on my interior sub-panel. Now I have the peace of mind knowing that my family will be safe and better provided for should we experience another extended power outage.

WGen 9500 DF Easy to operate and has Options

I purchased the generator to use in power outage . I received the generator all the items were in the box and it started up without any issues at all. I highly recommend the W Gen9500DF due to its great quality and power output thats higher than many units in the same price range . I also appreciate the 3 year warranty longer than most other generators on the market.
