I bought this to rum my 1.5 hp water well, and my house during a power outage and it works great. very happy with it.

I bought this generator because I live in the country and we have frequent power outages. This generator is very easy to start by hand and the remote is a welcome surprise. I will recommend this generator to several of my neighbors.

Well designed and built. Runs great. Easy oil change. Verified 40 amp output on 50 amp outlet stable. Electric start is handy...

I have purchased generators in the past. This generator went together fast and started right up. The oil provided did not fill to the right level. I went and bought two quarts of smal engine oil and changed and filled it. Started right up!

Perfect for home back up

After a major storm this past summer which left us without power for almost a week it was time to get a back up generator. I spent months researching the various generators and came to the conclusion that the Westinghouse Wgen9500DF is what I was getting. The remote start is an awesome feature so I can simply shut down the generator at night without having to go outside and start it in the morning. Also the duel fuel was a major want for me as well, without wanting to worry about having enough gasoline on hand as we live far in the country, I simply installed a tap on my house propane tank and run the generator off of that. For a generator that can run the essentials of the house, sump pump, furnace, water heater, well pump, lights etc. I couldn't be happier with this product, plus I have the option to take this generator wherever I choose and use it unlike a whole home generator that is stuck along side your house for as often as you need it, you may as well have it be portable.

Just unpacked this unit today. I am very pleased with everything Ive seen so far! Packed VERY well! extremely easy assembly! Looks to very well built. Even has a nice tool pouch for the included tools. Was happy to find a quart of oil and small funnel included. Bought this unit due to high reviews, wattage rating ( house back up ), and the dual fuel ability. So far super happy with this unit!
