Wheels and handles are stout. Much better than on my previous extremes. The lid is light and thin. Hard to close it all the way. Have to push both sides and already warping after 2 weeks. Ice melts in 2 days, on my porch, out of direct sunlight. If they put these handles on the extreme, theu would have an excellent product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used this cooler 1 time for a week of camping and it did well. Stored it in the basement and when I went to use it a second time the lid somehow warped enough that it no longer latches shut. I though Coleman products were built better than this

Very poor quality. Wheels are loose and wobbly, hinges flimsy and some of the screws were loose. Lid does not stay open, so you have to hold it up every time you go in it. The lid has already warped after only 2 weeks, the sides curve up so it no longer seals properly.
