Awful and will not hold ice

We purchased 2 coolers for a recent hunting trip. We had a total of 5 coolers (4 different brands) and this was the only one that absolutely would not hold ice. We had to add ice to only the Coleman 2-3 times each day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for posting a review. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we are sorry that our 316 Series™120-Quart Hard Cooler, Space Blue Grill didn't meet your expectations. This is not the experience that we want you to have. Coleman recommends using .75 lbs. of ice per rated quart of the coolant. We highly recommend using cubed ice.
For best performance, always pre-chill food and drinks.
Two six packs or one gallon (3.7L) of liquid will use approximately 2.5 lbs. (1.13kg) of ice just to cool from room temperature. So plan ahead and cool off everything before you head out. You can even empty a few trays of ice into the cooler to pre-chill its interior.
Have a great day.

CHEAP PRODUCT

We bought this cooler last year 2020. Because of Covid-19 we were unable to used it until this year 2021 for 4th of July and it was horrible.
My husband and brother could not pick it up without the handles coming off. The top would not stay shut. With 111 heat at the river our ice melted extremely fast and spoiled our meats and condiments. Now we are left with a useless cooler

If I could rate less than one star I would

The cooler states that it keeps ice up to 6 days. It might keep ice up to 3 hours. I bought it for work. Since I bought it, I use 3 bags of ice a day and is always melted before lunch. I miss the days when Coleman had quality products.

Disappointed. Big step down from the Xtreme series

It is like Coleman went out of their way to make a cheaper, less functional version of the Xtreme cooler.
- The side handles are cheaper and easily breakable
- They removed the plastic notch above the handles. This is a big mistake. Those notches made it possible to move the coolers in tight spaces. Without these notches, it is very cumbersome to pick up the cooler.
- The cup holders are so shallow (1/2" depth) and wide that they don't actually hold cups.
- The number "6" is actually backwards on the measuring markings on the top of the cooler. Okay, I realize this is not important, but it is super embarrassing. The cooler has a typo. It is like someone actually went way out of their way to cheapen this product, going so far as to insert a typo.

I have great experience with the Xtreme cooler. This is a huge step down. Really embarrassing move on product development. Typo on the product, less user friendly, and useless cup holders... Surprised that the decision was to aggressively brand this as "made in America."

Was good for a month

I got this cooler for a party, used it twice. I left it outside after cleaning it out and a month later the top will not properly seal. Don't waste your money on this junk.

My Coleman Cooler Saved the Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was a power outage and I was concerned that all of my meat. I bought some ice for my 120qt cooler. I was able to store a great amount of meat. The outage last there days and the ice melted very slowly. Over those days I drained the cooler and put more ice in just once. None of the meat was ruined..

Affordable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have had this cooler for over a month now and we are really happy with it. Its not as good as a yeti but works. My husband filled it with expanding foam to make it more insulated. You need a bunch of holes do to the nature of expanding foam.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Large cooler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is very large and can hold tons of stuff. It keeps your drinks ice cold all day and night. It has a lid that seals tightly to keep everything cold. It is great for day trips, weekend trips and camping trips. I can fit 2 bags of ice in it with tons of drinks and juices for the family. It is also a great cooler for going crabbing because it can easily hold 3 dozens of crabs if not a little more. It is great for a large family like mine when we go camping or go on day trips.
I would recommend this to a friend!
