I got my new machine assembled and then caught the flu so I haven't been able to use it yet. Well built and sturdy from what I can tell. Smooth and quite.
Love everything about this machine. Only catch, heart rate monitor only worked with uncoded heart rate chest strap. ANT+ and Bluetooth not supported with Wahoo TICKR or TICKR X.
I bought this rower because it was significantly less expensive than a lot of other water rowers and it had great reviews from others. I also liked that it looked nice...as a graphic designer I don’t like when there are crazy obnoxious logos all over my stuff. This machine looks beautiful and it is easy to use. Setting it up wasn’t too bad. I can’t say how this machine compares to others because the last time I used a rowing machine was almost ten years ago. I have used this machine several times since I got it and it makes me tired. I just had a baby two months ago and running or other workouts make my joints hurt because I still have quite a bit of baby weight (which is normal). This machine makes me feel like I got a really good workout without feeling like I am going to mess something up. I recommend buying it.
Very straight forward to assemble, did most of it solo but had help just for safety towards the end. Holds plenty of water, used one full bucket and it filled up to resistance 4 which at first felt like it would be a piece of cake, but after my first real 30 min workout that got me to 2k meters, I was spent lol put some chill music on for a 10 min warmup and it complimented the water swoosh sound perfectly, very relaxing as well as taxing lol can't beat it for the price! If your considering it, definitely get it!
I've used it every day since my purchase and it's holding up great. If you're looking for an inexpensive water rower, you should not hesitate to order this one!
I really love this water rower. I get really sore ankles when using other rowers but never had any issues with this one. You can watch TV and not worry about volume. Overall it's a pretty quiet and smooth.
