[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're really liking having a cordless vacuum. It's so quick and easy to grab for little messes and I've been vacuuming my kitchen on a more regular basis. I also love the option for a hand vacuum. It's going to come in handy so often! The suction adjustment is great too! Glad to have this machine in our house! Just wish it could be made in the USA.
I bought this specifically for the submarine attachment because I already have a V15 that I'm really happy with. The build quality on the submarine attachment is very poor compared to standard Dyson attachments and it took me some time to assemble it for use after first disassembling it while clean and dry for practice. The actual mopping function was excellent. Cleaning the submarine head was easy as well. However, once it dried, I was completely unable to assemble it again. The pieces just didn't fit together. I had already spent several fruitless hours with Dyson's offshore support trying to get clarity on what parts were supposed to be included on the box and decided to return the entire thing. If you wanted this only for vacuuming, it is likely a great device but the poor design of the mop attachment made it useless for me.

Disappointed with my Dyson V9 Motorbar: the dust bin is way too small.

I recentlu purchased the Dyson V9 Motorbar and gave it a workout today, cleaning my house. First of all, I love the fact that it is light and there's no cord to drag around. The economy setting of the power level was sufficiently powerful so that I was able to do the house without having to stop and recharge the battery! The cleaner is very light, great suction head that is low and gets under furniture. Easy to operate, clean and carry. I hope that this lasts till I turn the job over to one of the grandkids. I am 83.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This V9 was a replacement for the V11 Outsize. I must say I am very disappointed in the tank size and do not feel it is powerful enough. Unfortunately, I had to have my large more powerful V11 replaced due to the motor being too heavy causing weakness in the neck & motor connection. I have owned several Dyson vacuums and have always raved about them, this experience has changed my feelings of staying brand loyal.

Overall, I love my new vacuum. I gave it 4⭐️ only that I have to continually hold the switch for it to run and the switch placement makes my thumb sore as it rubs the under surface of the handle. Its power levels are great for picking up and I love the handheld option. Love that it’s cordless.
