First let me say I love the performance of my Dyson V9, which I got on sale at a very reasonable price. I purchased this vacuum mainly for long trips in our camper, but still wanted to use it in the house. So as soon as I read the charging station setup, I realized I would like to have an extra charging cord. I cannot find any extra parts for the V9 series anywhere. The battery is different from all the other Dyson batteries. So not just any charging cord will work. Therefore, in order to share the charging cord between the house an camper, I cannot actually install the charging station. I'm guessing the lack of parts available is why this vacuum had such a great price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a great Dyson before this one. My husband bought it for me. To me it is more difficult to hook up, but greater than that, it is very uncomfortable for my right hand. The other model that I used fit my hand and was most comfortable. This one is not conformed proper for a hand with the finger on the button. World of difference in the comfort between the old one and this one. If I had tried it in a store, I would NOT have purchased this model. Plus there seems to be less space for the dirt. And they say this one is a better model. No way.

This Dyson is really nice. Used it on the flooring (lvt) outstanding, switched to carpet, same response. But what was really nice, is for the first time, while sitting on the steps, used the small attachment head to do the steps to basement and upstairs. They never looked better. I’m pumped to use it on the inside of my vehicles! Great find, great vacuum!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my fourth Dyson vacuum. We have 4 cats and this was a great addition to help keep our floors and carpets clean. It easily mounts in a closet. It's quiet and I'm used to the trigger function to keep it turned on.

I love this V9 Dyson. It is quiet, powerful, and easy to maneuver. The battery indicator is helpful and one charge will last at least a few days for me. The dirt bin is so easy to open on this model. My first Dyson is still going 10 years later and has found a new home in my husband's garage.
