I returned this. A part fell out when I opened it and would not back together.

I purchased mine approximately. I’m one month ago in the first place I did was use it in my bedroom. I am a cancer survivor and has lost all my hair. It came back curly but then recently I started losing hair again and there was a lot that you couldn’t see on the floor so when I use my vacuum for the first time I t picked up a lot of hair. it did a wonderful job. I love that it’s very lightweight and get the job done. the suction is wonderful. The only regret I have is that I did not yet the parts so I could hang on the wall

The canister clogs and isn’t a good design at all. The v7 and v8 is much easier.

Its a great, lightweight stick vac. The submarine attachment cleaned my kitchen floor.

So far I am not having a positive experience. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or if the machine is defective. It does not pick up anything, not even sand. Just move it around! For the amount of money I paid I expected something effective!

I’ve used the Dyson V9 Motorbar primarily on laminate and tile floors in a small home, and it’s the best vacuum I’ve owned. The suction power is excellent, and the Motorbar does a great job with hair detangling. Maneuverability is one of its strongest features—it easily gets along edges and into tight areas.
Battery life has been very good for my needs. On Eco mode, I can vacuum my entire home on a single charge. Maintenance is simple, and overall performance has been reliable.
The noise level is reasonable and not excessive. I also use it on a bathroom rug, where the lowest power setting actually works best because the vacuum has such strong suction.
I was so impressed with the vacuum that I ended up showing it to a home warranty technician while he was working in my house. He was holding his tools in one hand and trying the V9 Motorbar with the other. He immediately noticed the strong suction and how easy it was to maneuver, especially along floor edges.
We purchased ours on sale, which made it an even better value. For laminate, tile, rugs, pet hair, and everyday cleaning, I would highly recommend the Dyson V9 Motorbar. It has exceeded my expectations.
I think the compatibility and functionality will be perfect for our new home. Easy to operate and easy to maintain/clean.
