I find that my cheaper brand vacuumed up better on my hardwood floors. With the dyson, I have to lift it up to pick up items.

I so far love this vacuum. The only improvement I would make is once the button is pushed to turn on it would stay on until pushed again. My hand gets tired holding the button in.

My favorite Dyson so far. Love that it’s lightweight and the battery last way longer than others I’ve had. And the battery indicator is a great feature!!!

I was so excited to finally get a Dyson, but the dirt/dog hair gets stuck way beyond the empty piece, I have to try and get it out to work properly. It's very difficult to get unclogged. It will not pick up if I don't do this step. Disappointed.

Battery is dead after only 2 uses. very disappointed

First let me say I love the performance of my Dyson V9, which I got on sale at a very reasonable price. I purchased this vacuum mainly for long trips in our camper, but still wanted to use it in the house. So as soon as I read the charging station setup, I realized I would like to have an extra charging cord. I cannot find any extra parts for the V9 series anywhere. The battery is different from all the other Dyson batteries. So not just any charging cord will work. Therefore, in order to share the charging cord between the house an camper, I cannot actually install the charging station. I'm guessing the lack of parts available is why this vacuum had such a great price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new Dyson is great. The attachments are wonderful and the filter is easy to clean. Runs for a long time.
