Absolute Junk

I bought this about 2 years ago. The product is absolute junk. The deadbolt got stuck and would not allow us to open the door, and this happened on Halloween night of all days. We've barely used the lock over those 2 years. Would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Kwikset - 980 Deadbolt to update our drab brassy deadbolt. The 980 Deadbolt looks so modern with the satin nickel finish. The deadbolt has SmartKey technology which made it simple to key it to match our existing lock. I love only having to use one key to gain entry to our home. The lock is made very well - high quality. It is smooth and easy to turn. Our front door looks amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Kwikset 980 deadbolt to upgrade my home from the original 40 year old locks. My installation was quick and easy and I really like that I can change the master key so easily. The Satin Nickel finish looked great and modern. I feel very safe and secure with this upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one side key deadbolt is very easy to change, only takes as long as minutes just remove the old one and put this one in its place. It is very strong and sturdy looks great and operates very smoothly. I highly recommend this 980 deadbolt if you're looking to replace your old one

Great 980 Deadbolt Smartkey Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 980 Deadbolt - Keyed One Side - featuring SmartKey lock was easy to setup and install. I like the single cylinder deadbolt feature and the re-key feature is a BIG PLUS ! The silver color matches perfectly with the rest of my door hardware and the lock works perfectly. The safety features of this simple yet advanced 980 Deadbolt - Keyed One Side - featuring SmartKey lock is just what I needed and it definitely secures my home and I feel better using this lock. Lastly, I really like that if I need to, I could Re-Key the lock on my own without having to spend hundreds on a locksmith, very smart lock.

My Front door lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I'm so glad I did. What a great idea! Now, if we ever go out of town, I can re-key a door or two and give a key to a neighbor and then, when we return, go back to having full security and peace of mind.
Super easy to re-key after you've done it once following the simple instructions. I love the beautiful chrome finish.
