How was this even allowed to go on the shelf? The door knob itself is find but the dead bolt is not what is listed on the package. Trash product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE the smartkey system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been landlords for 25 years and constantly had to change looks due to missing keys or simple security concerns after moving out. We had a small collection of locks and deadbolts. Enter the smartkey system - it's a game changer! Easy swap to keep things secure without having to jostle all the different locks and keys. Installation is simple. Same solid and reliable deadbolt with less fuss!

Worked twice now inside key not working

Bought this and it is junk reprogrammed inside and outside keys worked twice now inside will not work and outside is working but very stiff to turn

These locks last about 2 years

Had two fail on me after about 2 years. One was a front door and another was used less often. The pins in the lock give out and they key stops working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Re Keyable Locks

I have been buying the Quickset Key locks for quite some time to replace all existing locks. Makes it easier to re key lock when necessary. A lot of the locks are for rentals as well as my personal use.
