How was this even allowed to go on the shelf? The door knob itself is find but the dead bolt is not what is listed on the package. Trash product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No latch with Drive-in Collar

I purchased this lock and it does not come with the option of removing the faceplate for the latch. It doesn't specify anywhere on the packaging and the instructions say nothing about purchase separately. Very poor design and instructions. The face plate should be removable like your door knobs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolute Junk

I bought this about 2 years ago. The product is absolute junk. The deadbolt got stuck and would not allow us to open the door, and this happened on Halloween night of all days. We've barely used the lock over those 2 years. Would not buy again.

The smart key is great and easy to change keys. I have noticed the knob does get loose after a while and needs to be re-tightened. I had a deadbolt stop turning over but the warranty covered it. But other than that I'm very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The smart key lock makes it easy to re-key your locks. I did have a problem while re-keying, and they ended up sending me out a new core. But I have bought two additional Kwikset smart key locks since and didn't have any issues. Now every entry door on my house has the same key.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These locks last about 2 years

Had two fail on me after about 2 years. One was a front door and another was used less often. The pins in the lock give out and they key stops working.
