Great Line of Defense

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrade the primary deterrent to a potential robbery by installing a strong well-crafted lock. Easy to insert into the space for a lock, minutes later my mission was accomplished. On my first key turn the lock was not so stiff that the key would break in half. The stunning neutral finish is a great accent to my exterior door. A wise investment to assist in safeguarding your residence.

Great quality lock

The smart key functionality is the best now we don't have to carry multiple keys for different doors. Installing was easy but we needed some support and customer care was available without any hassle. They guided us through whatever questions we had and we were all set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwikset - 980 Deadbolt - Keyed One Side - featuring SmartKey is an outstanding deadbolt key system. It is simple to install and just as easy to change the keying. I have other Kwikset locks and was able to change the Smartkey to fit the already installed locks in my home. Easy to install and change the keying.

Easiest Lock Solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the easiest setup I have installed. This worked great on a garage entry door. No modification was necessary for this. It was a direct swap. The Smartkey feature allowed me to key to my existing keys. It was an easy process. The instructions made it simple to figure out. The only issue I had was a little bit of sticking at the strike plate, but that may have been due to old versus new hardware differences. I highly recommend Kwikset!
