My husband bought this and I was skeptical but wow almost 2 years later it's still sturdy and reliable. It hasn't weakened or loosened like most other deadbolts. Very reliable product.

Good Deadbolt & SmartKey Makes it even better

Have been using 4 of these for 4 years now. Installation instructions were clear and easy. They have held up well. The outside portion still looks like new. Really like being able to re-key easily whenever I need to do so. Will never buy another keyed lockset that isn't a SmartKey.

Great deadbolt

I needed a double cylinder deadbolt to restrict my grandkids' access to the pool area. The Kwikset 985 double cylinder was the obvious choice. Plus the ability to common key the lock made it even better. Easy to install, clear instructions and well made.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so happy camper...!

The set of two keys inside the package didn't work with one of the cylinders.
Have to say it was prett easy to install. I Just uninstalled to bring it back to the store
