Excellent quality and ease of installation

Easy to install and they stay easy to open over time even in the elements. The SmartKey re-keying option is a nice bonus and worth upgrading to get. Perfect finish match to a new Kwikset exterior lever handleset I just bought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought three of these deadbolts to upgrade my home from original 20 year old deadbolts. I did some research and shopping around. I for that Kwikset products are highly rated and are a great value for quality deadbolts. My installation was quick and easy and I really like that I can change the master key so easily. The Satin Nickel finish looked great. Great product!

The smart key lock makes it easy to re-key your locks. I did have a problem while re-keying, and they ended up sending me out a new core. But I have bought two additional Kwikset smart key locks since and didn't have any issues. Now every entry door on my house has the same key.

The smart key is great and easy to change keys. I have noticed the knob does get loose after a while and needs to be re-tightened. I had a deadbolt stop turning over but the warranty covered it. But other than that I'm very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!
