[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kwikset-980 Deadbolt - Keyed One Side - featuring SmartKey, Was very easy to install it is a deadbolt and allows you Re-key Without removing the deadbolt . I find that to be a great feature because I do miss placed my keys a lot and need to replace them. I can also use one key for all my smart key locks .

We needed to buy new locks and knobs to go with our beautiful new doors. The Kwikset 980 deadbolt was perfect to put on our new back door. The brushed nickel looks fresh and beautiful on our new door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these for quite some time now I really wanted to give them a test and time has passed by they are superior to what we have used in the past we love the security it is kicking resistant so resistant your resistant it is a signature series smart key technology absolutely love this lock and it is safe to say you will feel safe at home

The install was easy and quick with the hole already installed. Kwikset is a reliable and well known brand that provides great safety in this deadbolt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems to be a very well made, solid lock. The extra long plunger and screws make it less likely for the door to be kicked in. It seems a lot more safe than the old lock. As a replacement it was easy to install, but had to drill the doorframe a little deeper for the longer plunger. You can re key the lock yourself following the enclosed instructions in case you lose a key. Very convenient!

This lock is very fancy and look great but to advanced for me to figure out. I will keep trying. I’m sure it’s simple enough for the young ones. I will figure it out when my grand kids come to visit.
