[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually easy to assemble. All it takes is following the directions appropriately. That is a must. The fact that you can re-key this lock without a locksmith is incredible. It fits snug and works great.

Good lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Easy Installation took about 15 minutes following the enclosed instructions. It works as advertised.
When we replaced a regular locking door knob with the Kwikset we found that we will need to add a door handle either above or below the Kwikset lock.

The key works for pulling the door shut: However, I prefer a door handle or door knob on the side of the door with the key.

Easy installation - great security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this deadbolt installed by my locksmith (just because he was already here to do some other work) but he tells me it is fully user friendly. He was pleased with the simplicity of installation and the quality of the product itself. Provides for locking outside, with a key, or on the inside with the latch. Excellent feature is the Smartkey technology that allows you to key this with all your other knobs, so that you're not carrying around a multitude of keys. Nice matte nickel finish and the quality you'd expect from Kwikset!
