I like the low-profile design of the deadbolt lock. It’s also convenient that the SmartKey Security™ re-key technology is compatible with Kwikset (KW1) keyway or (SC1) keyway options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These deadbolts look great and attractive with my white doors. Extremely easy to install. SmartKey Security re-keying allows you to re-key lock yourself. This single cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by a key on the outside or the turn piece on the inside. Crisp and clean appearance gives a modern feel to it.

This Downtown Deadbolt lock by Kwikset offers a Designer style and superior security. Use it on exterior doors where keyed entry and extra security is needed. It features this SmartKey Security™, which protects against advanced break-ins, plus allows you to re-key your lock yourself in seconds. The deadbolt is operated by a key outside and thumb turn inside. It comes with 2 keys, and the Deadbolt Latch has 2 interchangeable faceplates - round corner and square corner. The Latch has an adjustable backset 2-3/8" to 2-3/4" to fit all standard door preparations. You can easily install this deadbolt lock in minutes with just a screwdriver. It has a Lifetime mechanical and finish warranty. I love the way this new deadbolt lock looks and performs, along with the added SmartKey feature that allows you to rekey your own key. I do recommend this Kwikset Downtown Deadbolt lock and am very happy with how it looks and performs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwikset deadbolt system is a solid reliable brand. These are not flimsy locks , they operate smoothly and I was able to rekey my locks in minutes. This is a single cylinder lock which was very easy to install.It has a satin nickel finish with a clean crisp look.

Smart and Beautiful Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband installed the new deadbolt which took about 15 minutes but what I really love about this lock is you can take your existing key and the lock will work with it so you only need 1 key for the handle and deadbolt. We love the lock and definitely recommend getting one.
