It looks great and gives you the extra security that you need to feel safe and secure. It installed easily and matches any door on wood or metal. It locks and unlocks easy and is made with high quality material. I highly recommend this product.

Beautiful design

I bought this while renovating my new house. I was looking for a clean modern deadbolt for my contemporary front door. I was the first one in my neighborhood to have something like this, and I had lots of people coming to my house to take pics of my door and received lots of compliments. I have this look in my front and cabana doors. Today lots of my neighbors have bought the downtown deadbolt too:)

We have had the lock on our door for a few weeks now. It was very easy to install and it works smoothly. I have been very happy with Kwikset as we have their door handles and locks on all of our doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed Kwiksets Tavaris entry handle set last summer so I was thrilled when this deadbolt came along, as it has the contemporary look I'm after. I consider myself a beginner when it comes to installations like this but I have to say because of Kwiksets directions I feel like a pro and save money doing it myself. And because of Kwiksets Smartkey system I saved more money and rekeyed the deadbolt to match my entry door myself. Not only do these locks look great but they put up with my family coming and going all day. I couldn't be happier.

What I like about the Downtown Contemporary deadbolt is the great profile...low and sleek. I've already gotten several positive comments from visitors to my home.
