Sleek and low-profile

Love the iron black color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This single-sided deadlock was chosen because I wanted to replace an ancient deadbolt on a door between the house and the main entryway. The lock has a few attributes that make it a good fit for my main door including the ability to re-key the lock so it can be used with the old lock's key. Now the landlord cannot complain. Deadbolts usually have that 1" bulge on either side of the door which I would feel around for in the dark, this keyhole is hard to find in the dark. This unit manages the same task in half the size. I wonder if the square shape makes it easier for a 'bad guy' to put a tool on it and torque the lock into failing...but I really think those guys are getting in regardless of which lock you use.
The included instructions are crystal clear and the installation was simple, including the re-keying procedure. The only tool I needed for installing this deadbolt was a Phillips cross head screwdriver. The lock operates smoothly and looks incredible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwikset Deadbolt is a great design. The bolt is sturdy and the screws are large to keep door secure. I like the simplicity of the look and function. It was simple to install, however, you will require a drill. Overall great product.

It matches my modern style home. The lock was super easy to install and works very well’ I will be changing all locks to match this one so that the home can have the modern touches. Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again, Kwikset has made a great product. I got this deadbolt since it has the SmartKey technology, meaning I can change the lock to fit my existing keys so that all of my doors are keyed alike. I love the Iron Black finish!

It was very easy to install and the directions were easy to read and follow! It comes with everything you need, all you need is a couple tools to install it! Very high quality and very nice!

I actually have a few of these around the house now for a cool rustic matching farmhouse look. I would recommend it for anyone looking for that type of aesthetic.
