Hard to install

I am in the process of building a house that I designed and constructed for the most part myself I had done all the electrical all the plumbing mostly HVAC all the framing and so forth I have purchased three low-profile square deadbolt locks thrilled with the look but I absolutely hate these locks the first time I try to install it took me over two hours and finally had to have my wife help.should not be a two person job
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not easy to install

Spent hours trying to install 5 of these on metal exterior doors. Called an experienced locksmith who struggled with installation as well. Not easy to install. Once installed they don't seem sturdy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid Deadbolt

I wasn’t the one who installed it, but I watched and it was very easy to install and did not take long at all. Having a stronger better quality lock system definitely helps me feel safer in my home. I would recommend this product to others looking to upgrade or change their lock systems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This low profile deadbolt is beautiful! I love how sleek it is and how the finish is very modern. This will spruce up anyone’s door. It was quite simple to set up, one screw is all you need. I love that this has the option to rekey. I’ve never seen another product have this capability. I have renters who stay at my house and every few months they leave and the process starts over again. This gives me peace of mind knowing that once they leave, they don’t have the option of coming back in because I rekeyed they lock. To rekey the deadbolt is not difficult at all, just make sure to follow the instructions on the Manual as you do have to turn the key a certain way for it to work.
The extra deadbolt on my door gives me security in knowing that someone can’t just kick in my door as easy as they could had I not installed the deadbolt. I love this on my door and you will too! Say goodbye to ugly deadbolts! Those are a thing of the past!

Great deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This door lock is stylish and functional. It works incredibly well and has a smooth turn to it when you lock or unlock your door. The style of it is a perfect square which is really unique and fresh looking on my front door. I love how easy it was to install that a stay at home mom could do it with no trouble. I love the brushed nickel finish as it goes with my decor. Kwiksets deadbolt is easy to unlock for my kids who come who come home from school an hour before I get home and can easily let themselves in and lock it with no confusion or trouble turning the key to get inside. My front door lock is super important as it’s your first line of defense against the world. I’m in love with this lock and it’s smooth moving mechanisms and it’s simplistic beautiful design and a quality that I can trust to keep my family safe.
