We're a young couple whose previous kettle lasted nearly 10 years. When we had to replace it, we wanted something similarly simple and effective. No need for fancy gadgets or various temperature settings. But we definitely prioritized kettles made of high-quality, durable materials. Price was certainly a consideration, and when we put together all those factors, we found this electric kettle checked all the boxes. Since we've had it, it's boiled water faster than our last kettle and generally performed as expected. Recommend!

All you need

I like the flip-top handle and the revolving base. (Well, actually the base is stationary, and the kettle revolves on it, but you get my drift.) Also appreciate the automatic shut-off. All-in-all, a very neat item.

No BPA

My old, plastic kettle died. I made a point that I'd better make sure the next kettle doesn't have any BPA in it. I'm satisfied with this metal kettle. The price was reasonable.

Nothing to complain about whatsoever, but a few inconveniences like the stainless steel getting hot when water boils and semi-difficult to read how close to the water level is to the 1.7L max capacity using its side indicator scale.
