Recently bought this 1.7L electric kettle after moving and WOW-- thank you Starfrit. As someone living with not a lot of space & a busy work schedule, I needed a kettle to do a few things: take up small space, have automatic features (safety and convenience), be easy to clean and make delicious tea. Students don't have time to worry about the little details, and with this automatic shutoff, I know I won't be pouring myself a half-full cup of tea. The cord nestles right back into place and filter clicks right out when it needs a rinse. This kettle checks all the boxes, and has become my new study buddy. 🍵✍️Thanks once again!

I just purchased the Starfrit 1.7 litre stainless steel electric kettle. I love it! I couldnt believe how quickly the water boiled and was ready. Love the automatic shut off...particularly if not enough water in it. Also love the storage area under the base for the power cord and the window with the measurements. Its the perfect size for my home. Overall..great product in my opinion
I would recommend this to a friend!

Weak power switch

Great kettle for the last 2 years. The toggle switch is getting worn out. Difficult to get switched on. A switch that is a rocker or unlit toggle might be more robust. This kettle gets a lot of use, at least 6 times a day, every day.
