The Best unit in AC manufacturers

Useless

Bought this to replace an earlier 14000 BTU Frigidaire through the wall model that worked well for 17 years. They don't build 'em like they used to. This Air Conditioner is USELESS. I run it all day long and it won't lower the temperature by even one degree! (Room temperature 82 degrees. Outside temperature reportedly mid 80s.) After a few minutes it stops blowing cold air and is just the fan, no cooling. After a while, condenser comes on and blows cold air for a few minutes and then back to fan only. Tried all the settings. No improvement. Professionally installed, so not user error.

We understand how disappointing it is to invest in a new model, only to find it struggling to cool even a few degrees—particularly when it's been professionally installed and you're doing everything right. What you're describing with the unit cycling between cold air and just the fan is not the performance we expect from our products, and I agree—it should be doing much more.

While we appreciate you trying all available settings, the behavior you're seeing could be related to an issue with the compressor, thermostat sensor, or internal controls. It’s definitely something we want to address as quickly as possible.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reaching out to our technical support team directly or starting a service claim under warranty so we can get this looked at by an authorized technician. We want to ensure you receive the cooling performance you paid for—and deserve.

What a relief!

I like the ECO and AUTO settings and summer is much more enjoyable. My only wish is that things would last longer than they do; it seems like such an environmental quagmire. My previous Frigidaire air conditioner only last 5 years.
