My New Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old Frigidaire room air conditioner in my living room and it lasted for more than 20 years. At the end of last summer when I turned it on I heard the compressor in that unit stop working, the fan worked but the compressor gave out. As a result I was in the market for a new unit. I took the winter to shop around the internet an read reviews on just about all the air conditioner units available to me. I knew I wanted something more powerful that the unit that I had as it seemed unable to keep the whole living room cool. After my search I decided to stick with a Frigidaire because I believe they're the best well made and stand the test of time. I bought the 14,000 btu model as I have a big area to cool. This unit fits me because it's powerful and will do the Job needed. The unit came with everything needed for installation, the foam padding to seal the sleeve, the ground wire and a new rear sleeve cover and it was easy to install. The last thing is that this machine is much quieter that the old one and that makes a big difference for me. The one thing I feel I have to mention is the unit is more expensive than a lot of the others I looked at, but the quality is there and in the end you get what you pay for. As I said the Frigidaire air conditioner it replaced was around 20 years old and I didn't see any of the other air conditioners I search for come close to that. In the end I'm very happy with my purchase and I would think you would be too.

Frigidaire - 14,000 BTU Wall Room Air Conditioner 208/230 V

Solid Aircondition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC replaced an older Fedders model. Installation was very straightforward. The unit performs well at cooling and the noise level is lower than to AC is replaced. Also the remote control is handy. Recommended if you need to replace an old AC.

Good AC Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this unit for a week, but it has been cooling my space very nicely in ninety degree weather. The noise level is similar to other units I've had. This is one of a very few 14,000 BTU AC units that fit in the older smaller wall sleeves in my condo. The only negative is the remote only shows you the room temperature, not the AC's settings.
