Don't like certain changes

I've had my note since it's come out. And I've been using the note since the Note 5. Overall the phone is pretty good. They speak on how fast the phone is with the updated roms and so forth but at the end of the day it comes down to the carrier. I've seen no real difference in speed. The biggest disappointment is the removal of the headphone jack. This is the second time Samsung has done this and I don't know why they continue to do this knowing it didn't go well the first time they removed it. Samsung users laugh at apple users due to them having to use a dongel and now look at us. Please put the jack back on the phone. And Bixby needs updates as well as far as voice response and so on.

Great Phone w/ 3 Deal Breaker Issues

I really wanted to love this phone. Great screen, great battery life, very fast and fluid. Samsung did a great job all around. Here are my deal breaker issues
Camera Quality - Terrible. If you have kids and rely on a good OIS or camera in low light, the Note 10 dissapoints. All cameras, all settings. I tried everythig. My 2 year old Pixel 2 XL took better pictures. This was the #1 deal breaker
Finger Print Sensor - Not practical not consistent. Misfires a lot. Needs to be combine with face unlock and even the face unlock on this phone is no consistent. Why should i have to spend so much of my time getting into my phone. The native smart lock on android doesn't work on this phone either. All frustraiting.
Google Pay - I go t use google pay and 9 out of 10 times, I put my phone on the NFC tag and have to then unlcock it. I tried everything. Apparently if I'm connected to a blue tooth device , like my headset or smart watch....that's why. So I have to turn off blue tooth. All these issues are deal breakers.
Hopefully samsung listens and fixes....

Awesome, Big, light and Great Product from Samsung

I was one of those who Pre-Order Note 10 + after having various problems with my Pixel 3 (had to replace it 2 times in six months I had).
This Phone is Awesome and looks better Feel, Light and works like a Charm. I never felt like this before (Excep the first time I had iPhone in 2007). This Phone is very light after being so big and its Great. Like Samsung One UI. I have this phone last two days. Feel Great using it.

I have been a Note user since Note 4 and a Samsung user for longer. The Note 10+ looks and feels amazing. The S Pen feels much sturdier as well. I am very pleased they allowed the Bixby button has been removed (kinda) but absolutely HATE and gave it only 3 stars on design due to the power button on the left. I actually never really had an issue with the fingerprint scanner on the back and the headphone jack means nothing to me so its removal is fine.
One thing I am very disappointed in was the only 512GB memory available direct was unlocked black. Why not have all the colors available online? Please Samsung, let us decide what we want and not what you decide.

I upgraded from an s7 edge and love this everything bout this note 10+. I love the spen, the big screen, even with an otterbox it is not too bulky for me. I love the handwriting feature, and live messages. I love the cameras and I love that it is 256gb right out the box. I cannot tell you how much I was having to delete stuff on my old phone only have 32gb. Thank you Samsung. You have a customer forever with me! <3

Flagship with rubbish camera app

Hardware is very nice: I like the display, battery life is so much better after my previous Galaxy S6. I like the stylus. Performance is more than enough. But. But! The camera(s). Picture quality is absolutely rubbish.
I've just returned from the Great Smoky Mountains, transferred photos to the PC... And was immediately disappointed in the photos quality compared to my old Galaxy S6. At first I thought it is a hardware problem. But after some investigation I found out that photos I made in Pro mode and saved as raw .dng are all right: as a proof, attaching raw photo converted to jpeg (no sharpening applied) and same photo saved by original Samsung camera app. Compare the details at 100%. Funny that with less detail, file is almost twice larger in size. I won't be able to improve picture quality of camera app file. With raw, I can do all I want including sharpening (picture is still quite blurry).
Also, when you shoot with "full" ratio (2.11) it saves photo with 4032x1908 which is 7.69MPx. 16:9 gives you 9.14MPx and 4:3 is 12.19MPx (for the phone's main camera). My old galaxy S6 was shooting 16:9 photos with 16MPx so even without raw format I had much more information to work with (I use Lightroom for post-processing). That's a great improvement over 4 years!
Okay, I could use Pro mode all the times, right? Nope. You cannot select which camera to use in Pro mode, so I can't shoot through telephoto or wide angle camera (which is a great idea, btw as I love panoramic shots).
Conclusion: if you use your phone for taking photos a lot, care about photos quality and don't want to carry a DSLR with multiple lenses with you - don't buy Note 10+ (yet?). I hope in the nearest future either Samsung will improve the camera app, or there will be an alternative app which can process photos properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It just keeps getting better

This device can handle anything I can throw at it. Great display, amazing battery life, this thing is a productivity machine. I will never be going back to fruit based devices. Not to mention this is a one of a kind device, nothing else exist like it and with such a complete eco system it's hard to beat.

Love this phone!

I bought this phone a few weeks ago to replace my iPhone 7 and I am so glad that I did! The pen is amazing (I'm using it right now)and I love the size of the screen. I don't even use my tablet anymore. The camera is phenomenal, even at night! Battery life is great, lasts me all day and I work from this phone(I'm a writer). My only complaint is the curved edges.
