After given the option to upgrade from my iPhone Xs Max to the "new" iPhone 11 pro max the last one being a waste of money I decided to give it a change to this new Note 10+.
The experience with this new flagship is been amazing, even tho I haven't been an android user since my last galaxy note 4 that 4 -5 years ago. The phone is just beautiful, I love the color, the camera is great and the stylus is just exceptional I didn't release how much fun it is to be in control of your own phone and all the features android provides to the user.
I recomend it 100%, even had the OnePlus 7 pro for a couple of weeks and this new Note 10 is just amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

From Beast Mode4 to Darth Mode10 +

I started with a Note8 tablet and was SO smitten with the s-pen I went it and upgraded phones to a Note2 within weeks. When the Note4 came out I was onboard from day 1 . It lasted until upgrading to this phone, again from almost release day.
My only con with this model is it is a fingerprint magnet. On my Note4 there were quite a few cons but nothing with bothering to upgrade over.
The speed is phenomenal and after a few setting changes, both onboard and after enabling developer mode, there is 0 animation making it even faster to the eye.
A ton of onboard memory as the base model is another excellent feature
The s-pen, my reason for staying with Notes for years, has gone from "just wow" to "man that's just stupid cool" with its onboard abilities, how smooth it writes , ergonomic improvements and how it now clicks to release (a feature I know isn't new to this model but new to me).
The battery life has gone from having to charge my phone twice a day (my 4th battery purchased) to charge every other day . If wish for a user replaceable battery like my Note4 but alas that ain't gonna happen no matter the brand anymore. It seems the masses fell for the rouse.
The screen is the usual Samsung blows the others away but the extra brightness and crispness is a God send to these eyes that aged 5 more years since the Note4 was new.
The speaker and hands-free option are both best described as loud. Turn it down to about 2/3 volume at highest loud.
To be honest the speaker during a phone call is the best sounding of any phone , Samsung or other, that I've used since my LG330 from last century.
Not phone is worth over a grand to me but this one comes darn close to me not even thinking of the price before purchase.
I don't really see a huge increase in snap to saved speed on the camera vs the Note4 but the photos are a little more realistic and is a bit more user friendly with its added bells and whistles, my favorite being the second shutter button option. With either I stopped using my standalone camera for more than special occasions.
I bought a Defender case with the phone because to be honest it's a little thin and narrow for my ginormous hands , the Snote case being my choice on the Note4.
I really wasn't in the market to go the Note route this time but everything else was just underwhelming at best and after a plethora of reviews and hours of YouTube reviews I decided to take a chance on this device and I am very glad I did, even more so than when I upgraded from a Note2 to a Note4.
Would I buy it again? Yes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] no heart rate monitor like on the s-10. i would just buy a note 9 and save a bunch of cash. i would gladly sell this one at a discount.

High battery usage - my battery will be at 60% by noon unplug from charger around 7:00 a.m. I don't watch videos, screen is in powersave mode, maybe 3 texts and 2 phone calls during that time.
Poor GPS - Google Maps and Waze show me driving offroad.
Apps offline - Applications will say they are offline, have to restart device to pick up network. Used primarily in Oklahoma City area. Full coverage according to AT&T map.
Never had these issues with Samsung 8+

so back to trying failed samsung/android. JUNK JUNK JUNK First I am writing this from my MacBook since you can NOT open this from your samsung note 10+???? First lets start with a HUGE problem. So you can NOT get gmail to push to your phone look it up emails maybe sometimes come to your phone or you have to open the app. Samsung has RUINED android.
I will be selling phones soon, I know I won't recommend samsung to anyone! My PH-1 and iPhones do not have the email problem that samsung has.
If samsung wants to make a good phone just run stock android.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally Very Good

This is the first Samsung phone I've owned. My last two old phones used Android 5. I really like the phone but as a senior it is somewhat complicated to learn. I'm sure there are many features I haven't even touched on yet. Also I was afraid to carry the phone with me when I first got it. It is extreme slippery, and I had to order a case to be able to grip it well.
